This gorgeous Circa 1930s 5 stone band is a fabulous mixed metal and mixed colour diamond band. The centre and side stones appear a might whiter colour than the other two and the balance of where they are set is amazing - it is like a white/ pale champagne alternating look - and we love it. Claw set in platinum the three centre stones are set in 4 grains inside their squares of raised platinum, and the two edge ones are triangles and set with three grains. This gives the face of the platinum such a lovely shape - and the raised platinum protects those grain claws - genius. These are getting harder to find in good condition - a lot have wear to that platinum raised face - which is not surprising given their age. The platinum top is set on a lovely raised buttery 18ct gold gallery. Just look at those swirls - so crisp in their carving - and in the underneath of the gallery - the hand carved settings - which have huge patina build up - they have been thoroughly scrubbed by us - they are just dark.

Condition - some chips to girdles of diamonds - likely before they were set,  some wear to the face of the platinum - given its age this is not much, and not close to the settings. Minimal companion wear.
