Platinum Panel-Fix Insulation Fixings
Platinum 'Panel-Fix' is a one piece Insulation Fixings manufactured from corrosion resistant polypropylene, recommended for securing rigid insulation, EPS, high density Rockwool and composites, to solid base materials.
Platinum 'Panel-Fix' Insulation Fixings may also be used for fixing and securing our range of Damp Proofing Meshed Membranes onto walls internally and externally, primarily for use in above ground installations.
The head features a rough surface to provide a 'key' for applied renders.
Platinum 'Panel-Fix' is a friction fit fixing and is installed by driving into an 8mm pre-drilled hole.
If using with a Damp Proof Membranes, then Newton® 801-M Mastic Sealant should be injected into the drilled hole before fixing the plug into the membrane, it serves to stop any ‘bridge’ happening between the damp or stained surface and the new surface and is also used for sealing around protrusions.
